Apri 18~19 2024, Xi’an, Shaanxii/China, Ma JinYong, Director of the Strategy Committee of UTEPO, and Feng JianGang, General Manager of the Digital Integration Center, accepted an invitation to visit Xi'an, a historic city steeped in ancient culture. During their visit, they paid a special call to Xi'an Jiaotong University, a renowned institution. The purpose of their visit was to foster closer ties between the school and UTEPO, and to facilitate deeper collaboration and exchange between the two parties in the field of technology.
Xi'an Jiaotong University is a renowned academic institution in Western China, boasting a research hub of excellence in the Internet of Things (IoT) Green Development. The institute has made significant contributions to the fields of smart technology and environmental protection, driven by cutting-edge research. Under the guidance of the institute's director, Ma JinYong and Feng JianGang gained a comprehensive understanding of the latest breakthroughs at the university's national key laboratory for precision micro-nano manufacturing, as well as the institution's strategies for fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and research.
Xi'an Jiaotong University showcased its research strengths and future development plans to representatives from UTEPO. The university's research office and technology development department highlighted their work on IoT systems, while the Leisure Institute shared breakthroughs in two key projects.
Both sides discussed the current state and future prospects of the IoT industry, focusing on applications such as digital agriculture, smart homes, and energy-saving emission reduction. Preliminary cooperation intentions were reached in areas such as new technology application and new market expansion.
The exchange deepened mutual understanding and built a bridge for long-term cooperation between the university and the company. Both sides agreed that by integrating resources and leveraging each other's strengths, they could promote technological innovation and drive social development.
