On September 15, 2023, the 3rd "5G+ Smart City Smart Pole" Industry International (Shenzhen) Summit Forum was successfully held in Longhua, Shenzhen. The event was guided by the Shenzhen Industrial and Information Bureau, hosted by the Longhua District Industrial and Information Bureau in Shenzhen, and organized by the Shenzhen Smart Pole Industry Promotion Association. The event theme was "Exploring the Path of Information, Empowering the Future of Intelligence". It guided the construction of multifunctional smart poles and the special planning of multi-functional smart poles in Longhua District, aiming to provide direction for building a 5G smart city.

This event focused on the hot topics of digital construction, such as the construction of new smart cities, urban perception systems, and the industrial ecosystem of multi-functional smart poles. Multiple theme-sharing sessions were held, and a wide range of industry associations, government functional departments, industrial enterprises, and social elites participated, including the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, Chinese Academy of Engineering academicians, Shenzhen University Smart City Research Institute, provincial People's Congress representatives, etc. The event officially released the "Construction Technology Specification for Multi-functional Intelligent Pole Systems" local standard in Shenzhen. Ma Jinyong, the director of UTEPO's product and technology strategy committee, was invited to attend the event as an industry expert representative and delivered a speech titled "UTEP0 Empowers Smart Pole Industry in Smart Cities."
